I downloaded this record on a recommendation from a friend and I was surprised to find that I couldn’t stop listening to a side project by The Strokes’ drummer. It’s not groundbreaking or anything, but it’s certainly enjoyable. I love the 50’s pop influence and the occasional reggae-tinged guitar/organ riffs. Little Joy are coming to Hoboken on Friday, actually, and if all goes well I’ll make it to see them.
