Now I’m just thinking out loud here, but why doesn’t someone create a Muxtape-type service as a Facebook app? Sharing your mixtapes with only your friends on facebook would prevent the rest of the web (well, the RIAA) from seeing any illegal content.  Using the open-source Opentape project, someone could probably throw this together in a few hours.

There are ways in which the non-openness of Facebook can be beneficial for developers. It’s very possible, however, that Facebook wouldn’t approve an application of this sort.
