Liberty state park was really nice with the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island as a backdrop.
Kathryn Calder of the New Pornographers is still gorgeous. Their set was fun as usual, but it’s always somewhat disappointing when Neko Case doesn’t show. I’m always hoping for Dan Bejar to make an appearance but that has yet to happen.
Mates of State were very good even though I was previously unfamiliar with them.
Andrew Bird was impressive with a violin.
Radiohead played for almost two and a half hours to close and was absolutely amazing, even if their set was heavy on In Rainbows and I was hoping for some earlier songs. I also may have been close to having a seizure at one point during the light display.
Escaping Jersey City via light rail after the concert was an adventure.
